"Matagarup Zip+Climb have a truly unique, spectacular 400m+ zipline off a bridge located in the heart of Perth, Western Australia. The original braking system needed a redesign
and we turned to Aerial Parks who quickly assessed and determined our issues – despite needing to manage COVID, time zones and travel restrictions. Aerial Parks design allowed us
to open so a BIG thank you to Mike and his team who are super professional and easy to work with. We highly recommend them and we still turn to them for industry advice".

DESIGNED & FABRICATED IN CANADA
NDT / MRT Inspections detect flaws on the inner layers of wire rope that is impossible to detect with visual inspections. Non-damaging magnetic inductive sensing technology and magnetic flux leakage scans the full cross section of any ferrous wire rope to measure different types of flaws such as broken strands, loss of metallic area and corrosion.
The overall strength of wire rope is only guaranteed when new. As wire ropes age and wear, it’s strength can be reduced to a point where safety factors are compromised. Ziplines have hugely varying lifespans depending on the quality, frequency of use and it's environment, thus, its imperative that NDT / MRT Inspections are performed at regular intervals throughout it's service.
1ST INSPECTION for any life critical wire rope in the carriage way / ski industry occurs after installation and BEFORE its put into public service to establish a baseline for future examinations to monitor deterioration; to ensure any manufacturing defects are identified and to ensure no damage was caused during installation.
This is the protocol Aerial Parks has adopted for the zipline industry.
2ND INSPECTION for wire ropes with average use in a non-abusive environment is performed at 5 years of service. High traffic volumes, severe loading or harsh environmental factors reduce this timeframe.
SUBSEQUENT INSPECTIONS are determined by previous inspection findings.
Inspections are completed by our Certified Wire Rope Technician. Each wire rope is issued a detailed report outlining it's overall condition, next inspection date or replacement requirements.

Aerial Parks services 1/2” (13mm), 5/8” (16mm), 3/4” (19mm) and 7/8” (22mm) wire ropes.
NDT / MRT ZIPLINE INSPECTIONS
"I have hired Aerial Parks to do NDT cable inspections for our zipline course in Whistler, BC (Canada's longest at 2KM / 1.2 Miles) each year for the last 3 years. They have always been on time, reliable and easy to work with. Aerial Parks provide detailed reports which are well organized and contain all the required information. Mike is a zipline professional and can efficiently move through the zipline course to cover lots of ground in a day. I would highly recommend Aerial Parks for inspections and NDT Testing.
They charge a fair price for a very professional service".
